sederhana tapi menyenangkan penuh makna dan enak didengar.

Slavery, NONE but Ourselves Can FREE Our Minds”. Yang kurang lebih kalo diterjemahin “Memerdekaan diri
dari mental “budak”. Hanya kita
yang bisa keluar dari perbudakan pikiran kita sendiri bukan orang lain. Dan
bagaimana kita memotivasi dan berbicara pada diri kita sendiri.
Bob Marley dikenal dengan lantang menyuarakan
kebebasannya, freedom, motivasi, bangkit dan melawan berbagai penindasan. Tapi
berbeda dengan lagu ini, dalam lagu ini musuh utamanya adalah diri kita sendiri, terkadang
melawan diri sendirilah yang paling susah ketika down, motivasimu hilang,
malas, jiwa yang labil dan bukanlah orang lain, But only ourselves. Karena lagu ini di tulis Bob
Marley ketika dia dalam perjuangannya
menghadapi penyakit kanker yang mengingatkan dia bahwa kematian sudah didepan
mata.
Dan untuk mengalahkan musuh ini kita tidak bisa
mengandalkan orang lain, tapi diri kita sendirilah yang bertanggung jawab
melawannya. Sadar akan keadaan bahwa kita bukanlah korban atau budak atas
pikiran diri sendiri, tapi kita punya kuasa atas apa yang ada pada diri kita
sendiri.
